This ambitious 6-day itinerary is the “Grand North” tour, checking off every major bucket-list destination in Northern Vietnam. From the highest peaks of Indochina in Sapa to the ancient royal history of Ninh Binh and the emerald waters of Halong Bay, this journey is designed for travelers who want to see it all.

Detailed Itinerary

Day 1Arrival Hanoi - Hanoi City Tour D)

Upon arrival at Noi Bai International airport, meet by our representative and transfer to take Hanoi city tour covering Ba Dinh Square, Ho Chi Minh Mausoleum & Residence, One Pillar Pagoda and Temple of Literature (The 1st University of Vietnam) after that, you will transfer to hotel for check-in.
Dinner at local restaurant.
Overnight in Hanoi.

Day 2Hanoi - Sapa - Cat Cat Village - Moana Café (B/L/D)

06h45 – 07h15: Our drive will pick you up at your hotel and durations approximately 05 hours transfer to SAPA (by sharing sleeping bus).
13h00: Upon arrive Sapa, check in hotel follows and have lunch at local restaurant then continue tour program.
15h00: Visit Cat Cat village which is occupied by the Black H’mong tribe and Moan view café. Get the nice pictures here.
Overnight in Sapa.

Day 3Fansipan Cable Car - Glass Bridge (B/L/D)

Morning – Visit Fansipan
- 07h30: Pick up guests at the hotel or meeting point in Sapa.
- 08h00: Transfer to the Fansipan cable car station.
- 08h30: Take the cable car and enjoy panoramic views of the Hoang Lien Son mountain range.
- 09h00 – 11h00: Explore Fansipan Peak – the “Roof of Indochina”, take photos, and enjoy the stunning scenery.
- 11h30: Take the cable car down and have lunch (self-paid or included depending on the tour).
Afternoon – Visit the Glass Bridge
- 13h30: Depart for the Glass Bridge.
- 14h00 – 16h00: Experience the Glass Bridge, take photos, and enjoy thrilling activities at great height.
- 16h30: Transfer back to Sapa town.
- 17h00: Return to Hanoi
Overnight in Hanoi.

Day 4Hoa Lu - Tam Coc (B/L/D)

08h00: Our driver and tour guide will pick up from your hotel and then transfer to Ninh Binh.
13h15: Visit the ancient capital of Hoa Lu, Vietnam’s most significant remnant from the past. Here, you will discover about the establishment of the first capital in Ninh Binh’s Hoa Lu. Learn about the remarkable and distinctive architecture found in the temples of King Dinh and King Le, who made significant contributions to an ancient kingdom.
12h00 – 12h30: Relax while enjoying lunch at local restaurant.
14h15: Taking a boat excursion from Trang An wharf is a must-do activity in Ninh Binh, as it is the highlight of the journey. On the Trang An Tour, while you ride a bamboo boat through grottos filled with stunning stalactites, you’ll be able to take in the breathtaking scenery.
16h00: Get on the car and return to Hanoi
18h00: You will be dropped off at your hotel in the Old Quarter of Hanoi.

Day 5HANOI – HALONG – HANOI (B/L/D)

After breakfast, transfer to Halong Bay.
Upon arrival, we do a half day boat trip to discover wonderful Ha Long Bay. Admire hundreds of wonderful limestone formations arising from emerald green water, visit the dramatic caves, grottos such as: Paradise Grotto.
Lunch will be served on boat with the fresh seafood.
Return to Hanoi, visit the pottery village at Dong Trieu town, upon arrival in Hanoi, visit Hoan Kiem Lake, 36 ancient streets (Hanoi Old quarter), Dong Xuan market and shopping.
Dinner at local restaurant.
Overnight in Hanoi

Day 6Hanoi Departure (B)

Breakfast at hotel then free until your transfer to the airport for your departure flight.
Trip ends.

Are there any age restrictions for this tour?

We have a minimum age requirement of 18 years old to join the tour. Group members aged 16-17 years old are welcome to join the tour but only with a family member that will act as their guardian whilst on tour. Aside from that, no age requirements at all!

What should I do if I get lost during the tour?
