Detailed Itinerary

Day 1Arrival Ho Chi Minh (D)

Upon arrival at Tan Son Nhat airport, you will be met by Tour guide and Driver and transferred to hotel for check-in then do a short sightseeing tour of Ho Chi Minh City: Visit Presidential Palace, Notre Dame Cathedral, The Old Post Office and The People’s Committee Hall.
Dinner will be served at local restaurant.
Overnight in Ho Chi Minh City.

Day 2Ho Chi Minh City - Cu Chi Tunnels (B/L/D)

After breakfast, we take one and half hour to Cu Chi tunnels, visit the tunnels system of more than 200km in length which used to be the shelters of guerrillas during the war against American troops.
Return to Ho Chi Minh for lunch.
After lunch, visit to The War Museum, the famous lacquer ware factory and the handicraft center and Ben Thanh market for shopping
We have dinner at local restaurant.
Overnight in Ho Chi Minh City.

Day 3Mekong Delta - Vinh Trang Pagoda (B/L/D)

After breakfast, a two hour drive to Mekong Delta will expose the colorful outskirt life as well as picturesque rice fields along the journey.
Upon arrival, get on a boat trip up Mekong River with islet stop at Thoi Son to taste seasonal fruits, enjoy traditional folk songs.
Then, visit the authentic life of the local and challenge your bargaining power at cottage handicraft shops.
An adventurous sampan ride in palm shading creeks will be the next experience of the riverside region.
Lunch will be served with the Mekong Delta specialty – Deep Fried Elephant ear fish.
Return to Ho Chi Minh City in the afternoon. Dinner will be served at local restaurant.
Overnight in Ho Chi Minh City

Day 4Departure Ho Chi Minh (B)

After breakfast, you will be free until your transfer to airport for departure flight.

Booked 2, 2 day private tours and money was well spent. Private tours means you can where possible avoid crowds and gain entry and exit quicker. Hai and Lun who we had for both days were professional and very prompt. They also could read when our energy was getting low and adapted the tour to our needs. Also understood when to chat and not as we spent a few hours travel time in car. If you’re wanting to explore Hanoi and the outer areas of Hanoi spend the extra money and book through this company. Viator and other sites are good for quick trips but for longer trips use Indochina group who are very professional

We have done a private tour going to: HOA LU TEMPLE - MUA CAVE - TRANG AN Miami was our lovely tour guide. Her English was excellent and clear. She hosting us in the perfect possible way. We had a late arrival the day before and left us to rest during the 2,5 hour drive. We have a minimum age requirement of 18 years old to join the tour. Group members aged 16-17 years old are welcome to join the tour but only with a family member that will act as their guardian whilst on tour. Aside from that, no age requirements at all!
