This comprehensive 5-day itinerary (extending into a 5th day for departure) is the ultimate Central Vietnam grand tour. It bridges the gap between the imperial majesty of Hue, the modern marvels of Ba Na Hills, and the ancient, lantern-lit charm of Hoi An.

Detailed Itinerary

Day 1Arrival Da Nang - Welcome Drink (D)

Arrival Da Nang International airport, you will be met and greeted by our local tour guide.
Check in to hotel.
Dinner and overnight in Da Nang.

Day 2Danang - Hue (B/L/D)

Breakfast at hotel.
Enjoy a half day tour with the boat trip to visit Thien Mu pagoda then proceed to visit Royal Citadel, built on 1804.
The tour of Imperial City features Flag Tower, Noon Gate, Nine Dynastic Urns, Nine Holy Cannons, Thai Hoa Palace, Forbidden Purple city.
Lunch at local restaurant then transfer to Da Nang.
Upon arrival to Da Nang, it’s your free time to enjoy the beach, dinner at a local restaurant

Day 3Danang - Bana Hills (B/L/D)

Breakfast at hotel.
This morning, we transfer you to visit Ba Na Hills – where you will see “your road to heavenly scenery”.
Sitting in the cable car cabin, midair, looking upon the endless tree line of the forests, guests will be able to enjoy breathtaking views of the lush jungle and waterfalls along the way.
Visiting French village, flower garden, golden bridge with outstanding view to Da Nang city.
Come back Da Nang hotel for refreshing.
Dinner at local restaurant.

Day 4Da Nang - Hoi An (B/L/D)

Breakfast at hotel.
08h00: Driver and tour guide will pick you up tour hotel and transfer to Danang.
The first stop is Son Tra Peninsula, known as “Monkey Mountain”, which offers stunning views from 693 meters above sea level. Here, you’ll visit Linh Ung Pagoda, home to the tallest statue of the Goddess of Mercy in Southeast Asia, standing 67 meters tall on a lotus-shaped platform, surrounded by 21 miniature Buddha sculptures.
Next, explore the Marble Mountains and Am Phu Cave, where you can admire beautiful caves and historic Buddhist pagodas, gaining insight into Buddhism and Hinduism.
Finally, visit the Non-Nuoc Stone Carving Village to appreciate fine stone art and shop for souvenirs.
11h30 – 12h00: Enjoy some local cuisine at a local restaurant before visiting Cam Thanh Coconut Jungle and Hoi An Ancient Town.
13h00: Continue your adventure with Cam Thanh Coconut Jungle and spend your time enjoying the peaceful, green space of Coconut Forest and hands-on experience of round net and cast net fishing, especially enjoying basket boat rowing.
14h15: Then Hoi An Ancient Town welcomes you to visit Phuc Kien Pagoda, Phung Hung ancient house, the Japanese Bridge, Museum, etc. Shopping at Hoi An Central Market. Walk around the historic old town and be amazed by the influences from China, Japan, and Vietnam. Have dinner at the local restaurant.
Free your time with the night market and enjoy the shimmering space of Hoi An.
18h00: Enjoy your time with the boat ride on Hoai River and release the flower lanterns to pray for good luck for you and your family. You will immerse yourself in the fanciful space of the lantern street. Free your time with the night market and enjoy the shimmering space of Hoi An.
Dinner and overnight in Danang.

Day 5Da Nang Departure (B)

Breakfast at hotel.
Free for shopping in the morning till time for transfer to the airport for flight back home.

this is our 5th TAD adventure. When booking you know where you are going but from experience we know it’s the Tour Leader that will make or break the trip. Tom greeted us and started with setting up a What’s App, a great idea, it is more than just helpful, it brings the team together, sharing & caring. it didn’t take long for everyone to jump onboard adding info, asking questions and adding /sharing photos. Tom sorted our rooms, handed out our keys, had Water everyday, paid ahead for entry to excursion destinations, organised for laundry etc which certainly ment less headaches for everyone ( upgrade) Organising the bus to save walking or taxi/uber ride (upgrade) With Tom’s wide smile, warm personality & good English we knew we were in good hands, always happy to help out and deal with our issues (they happen) As a tour leader we rate him AAA. We had a wonderful time exploring Vietnam, and the entire trip was smooth and well organised. Staying in Hanoi’s Old Quarter was a great experience, and we really enjoyed exploring the beautiful landscapes of Ninh Binh and taking the boat ride through Trang An. The highlight of our trip was the overnight cruise in Ha Long Bay. The stunning scenery, peaceful overnight stay, and morning kayaking made it a truly memorable experience. The limousine transfers were also comfortable and hassle-free throughout the trip. A special thanks to Nina for helping customise our itinerary and patiently answering all my questions from day one. Her support and guidance made the planning process much easier and gave us confidence before the trip. Overall, everything went smoothly, and we returned home with lots of beautiful memories. An Excellent Guide – Thank You, Hai Nguyen! Hai Nguyen made our Vietnam trip truly memorable! He was punctual, friendly, patient, and incredibly helpful throughout our time with him. He explained everything so well that we could appreciate not just the places we visited, but also the culture and stories behind them. What touched me most was his willingness to go the extra mile. At Mua Cave, he patiently helped me climb the steps and encouraged me along the way. He also helped us take lovely photographs, assisted us with shopping, and took us to a place selling beautiful bamboo products. His suggestions to visit the night market and take an evening walk around the lake added some wonderful experiences to our trip that we might otherwise have missed. Hai was always considerate, and attentive to our needs. His warmth and genuine helpfulness made us feel comfortable and well looked after. It is these little gestures and personal touches that make a trip memorable, and Hai certainly made a difference to ours. Are there any age restrictions for this tour?

We have a minimum age requirement of 18 years old to join the tour. Group members aged 16-17 years old are welcome to join the tour but only with a family member that will act as their guardian whilst on tour. Aside from that, no age requirements at all!

What should I do if I get lost during the tour?
