Discover the cultural, scenic and modern highlights of Central Vietnam on a 5-day journey through Da Nang, Hue, Hoi An and Sun World Ba Na Hills. This itinerary brings together coastal views, historic landmarks, UNESCO heritage, local cuisine and a memorable rail journey across Hai Van Pass.
Begin in Da Nang with visits to Marble Mountains, Son Tra Peninsula, Linh Ung Bai But Pagoda, Pink Church and Love Bridge. Travel by heritage train to Hue, Vietnam’s former imperial capital, where ancient royal architecture, traditional incense-making and the peaceful Perfume River await.
Continue to Hoi An for a bamboo basket boat experience in Cam Thanh Village and a guided walk through the atmospheric Ancient Town. The journey concludes at Sun World Ba Na Hills, with cable car rides, mountain attractions, a funicular experience and buffet lunch, followed by time for shopping in Da Nang.
Upon arrival at Da Nang International Airport, meet the local representative and transfer to a local restaurant for lunch. Enjoy local favourites such as My Quang noodles or Vietnamese cuisine at Bep Cuon Restaurant.
In the afternoon, begin a city tour of Da Nang with visits to:
After the tour, transfer to the hotel for check-in and relaxation. In the evening, enjoy a seafood dinner at a local restaurant before returning to the hotel.
After breakfast, transfer to the train station for the morning heritage train journey from Da Nang to Hue, departing at approximately 7:50 AM and arriving at around 10:35 AM.
Enjoy the scenic rail route across Hai Van Pass, with views of the Truong Son mountain range on one side and the coastline on the other.
Upon arrival in Hue, visit Thien Mu Pagoda on the northern bank of the Perfume River. Continue to Thuy Xuan Incense Village to learn about traditional incense-making.
After lunch featuring Hue-style cuisine, visit the Imperial City of Hue. Enjoy a 30-minute cyclo ride from Hien Nhon Gate to Ngo Mon Gate, passing sites such as the Flag Tower, Nine Dynastic Urns and Nine Holy Cannons.
Continue on foot to explore the temples, pavilions and royal structures within the Imperial City. Later, visit Khai Dinh Tomb before transferring to the hotel for check-in.
Dinner will be served at a local restaurant.
After breakfast, travel to Cam Thanh Village and enjoy a traditional bamboo basket boat ride.
Continue to Hoi An Ancient Town, a UNESCO World Heritage Site. Join a guided walking tour covering:
Enjoy free time for shopping and exploring the charming streets of Hoi An. Lunch and dinner will be served at local restaurants.
After dinner, transfer to the hotel for check-in and overnight stay in Hoi An.
Depart early in the morning for Sun World Ba Na Hills Mountain Resort.
The included combo package covers round-trip cable car rides, entrance to attractions and rides, a funicular journey to the peak of Ba Na Hills, and buffet lunch at a local restaurant.
In the afternoon, gather at approximately 4:00 PM and return to Da Nang. Stop at Han Market or Vincom Shopping Mall for shopping, including local snacks, roasted cashew nuts, lotus seeds and Trung Nguyen G7 instant coffee.
Check in to the hotel and relax. Dinner is at your own arrangement, followed by return to the hotel.
