Detailed Itinerary

Day 1Day 1: Arrival Danang – Danang City Tour – Hoi An Ancient Town (L/D)

Meals: Lunch, Dinner | Overnight: Hoi An

Upon arrival at Danang International Airport, meet your local guide and transfer to a local restaurant for lunch.

Begin your Danang city tour with visits to Marble Mountains, Son Tra Peninsula, Linh Ung Bai But Pagoda, Pink Church, Love Bridge and Dragon Bridge.

In the evening, transfer to Hoi An Ancient Town for dinner before checking in to the hotel. Overnight in Hoi An.

Day 2Day 2: Hoi An Ancient Town – Cam Thanh Village – My Son Sanctuary (B/L/D)

Meals: Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner | Overnight: Hoi An

After breakfast, enjoy a guided walking tour of Hoi An Ancient Town. Visit the Japanese Covered Bridge, Tan Ky Old House, Fujian Assembly Hall and the Museum of Trade Ceramics.

Continue to Cam Thanh Village for a traditional bamboo basket boat experience, followed by lunch at a local restaurant.

In the afternoon, visit My Son Sanctuary, the UNESCO-listed complex of ancient red-brick Cham temples set within a lush valley. After dinner at a local restaurant, return to the hotel for overnight.

Day 3Day 3: Hoi An – Sun World Ba Na Hills – Danang (B/L/D)

Meals: Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner | Overnight: Danang

After breakfast, depart for Sun World Ba Na Hills. The tour includes a round-trip cable car ride and buffet lunch at a local restaurant inside the resort.

Spend time exploring the mountain resort before returning to Danang in the afternoon. Continue to Han Market, one of the city’s oldest traditional markets, for shopping and local specialities.

Enjoy dinner at a local restaurant before transferring to the hotel for overnight.

Day 4Day 4: Danang – Hue Ancient Capital – Danang (B/L)

Meals: Breakfast, Lunch | Overnight: Danang

After breakfast, travel to Hue via the spectacular Hai Van Pass, with scenic views of the Truong Son Range, East Sea and Lang Co Bay.

Upon arrival, visit Thien Mu Pagoda on the banks of the Perfume River. Continue to the Imperial City of Hue, with an optional cyclo ride past landmarks including the Flag Tower, Nine Dynastic Urns and Nine Holy Cannons, followed by a walking tour of the citadel’s temples and pavilions.

After lunch, visit Khai Dinh Tomb, renowned for its blend of Vietnamese and French architectural influences. Continue to Thuy Xuan Incense Village, known for its colourful incense-making tradition and conical hats.

Return to Danang and check in to the hotel. Dinner is at your own arrangement.

Day 5Day 5: Departure Danang (B)

Meals: Breakfast

We have done a private tour going to: HOA LU TEMPLE - MUA CAVE - TRANG AN Miami was our lovely tour guide. Her English was excellent and clear. She hosting us in the perfect possible way. We had a late arrival the day before and left us to rest during the 2,5 hour drive.  Verified Perfect Ninh Binh day with Hai — Hoa Lu, Hang Mua & Trang An
We did a private day tour with Hai covering Hoa Lu, Hang Mua Cave, and Trang An, and it was an excellent day. Hai was punctual, easy to talk to, and very well organized. At Hoa Lu he explained the history of the ancient capital clearly without making it feel like a lecture. At Hang Mua he paced the climb well, gave us time for photos at the viewpoint, and kept the visit comfortable. Trang An was the highlight — the boat ride through the caves and temples was beautiful, and Hai handled the timing and logistics smoothly so we didn’t feel rushed. What stood out most was how personal the day felt. Hai adjusted the schedule to us, made practical suggestions, and was patient and professional from start to finish. If you want to see Hoa Lu, Hang Mua, and Trang An in one day with a reliable private guide, we highly recommend Hai. We would book him again.
