Detailed Itinerary

Day 1Arrival Hanoi (D)

Upon arrival at Noi Bai International airport, you will be met by our Guide and Driver and transfer to hotel for check-in.
Dinner at local restaurant.

Day 2Hanoi - Halong (B/L/D)

After breakfast, take Hanoi city tour covering Ba Dinh Square, Ho Chi Minh Mausoleum & residence, One Pillar Pagoda and Temple of Literature (The 1st University of Vietnam).
After lunch, proceed to Ha Long City. Ha Long Bay was awarded by UNESCO as a natural heritage in 1994. This four hour driving will show you the diversity of the North Vietnam villages and rice fields along the journey. Upon arrival in Ha Long City, we check in hotel then have dinner at local restaurant.
Overnight in Ha Long City.

Day 3Halong - Hanoi (B/L/D)

After breakfast, we do a half day boat trip to discover wonderful Ha Long Bay. Admire hundreds of wonderful limestone formations arising from emerald green water, visit the dramatic caves, grottos such as: Paradise Grotto.
Lunch will be served on boat with the fresh seafood.
Return to Hanoi, visit the pottery village at Dong Trieu town, upon arrival in Hanoi, visit Hoan Kiem Lake, 36 ancient streets (Hanoi Old quarter), train street, Dong Xuan market and shopping.
Dinner at local restaurant. Overnight in Hanoi.

Day 4Hanoi - Bai Dinh - Trang An - Hanoi (B/L/D)

08h00: Our tour guide and car pick up at your address to depart for Ninh Binh province (120 kms).
10h20: Arrive in Buddha Prayer place in Bai Dinh Pagoda, the biggest pagoda in Vietnam with 500 La Han statues, biggest bronze Buddha statue in Vietnam with 10 meters in height, 100 tons in weight. Have lunch in local restaurant with some local special dishes such as Goat meat with elderberry, pork storage vessel…
13h00: Depart to visit Trang An tourist attraction, take boat trip to visit cave complex: Sang Cave, Toi Cave, Ba Giot Cave, Nau Ruou in mystery and wildness, see scenery of mountain and rivers – a Ha Long on land of Ninh Binh.
16h00: Getting on the car return to Hanoi.

Day 5Hanoi Departure (B)

Breakfast at hotel then free until your transfer to the airport for your departure flight.
Trip ends.

Are there any age restrictions for this tour?

We have a minimum age requirement of 18 years old to join the tour. Group members aged 16-17 years old are welcome to join the tour but only with a family member that will act as their guardian whilst on tour. Aside from that, no age requirements at all!
