Detailed Itinerary

Day 1Ho Chi Minh arrival - Dinner on cruise
  • Welcome to Ho Chi Minh. Upon arrival, our tour guide and driver will pick up at the airport and transfer to hotel for check in. Free at leisure.
  • At 18h30, our tour guide and driver will pick you up at the hotel and take you to the cruise and enjoy dinner there. You will finish it around 21:00pm and be back to hotel for rest.
  • Overnight in Ho Chi Minh.
Day 2Ho Chi Minh City Tour - Cu Chi Tunnels (B/L)
  • 08h00: Your guide and driver will pick you up at your hotel. We will visit the following places of interest:
    • Independence Palace (the Reunification Palace) was built on the sight of the former Norodom palace.
    • War Remnants Museum which has a vast display of both the Indochina wars.
    • Notre Dame Cathedral and Central Post Office the beautiful structures from the French Colonial times
    • Jade Emperor Pagoda with the peaceful atmosphere so many stories behind each detail of the pagoda.
  • After a few hours discovering the city, you will enjoy your lunch at a local restaurant before we drive about 1,5 hours through the pleasant countryside before arriving at Cu Chi.
    • Upon arrival, you’ll watch a brief of the propaganda video, which explains how the tunnels were used to successfully defeat American military forces in combat.
    • The tour continues and the guide explains some traps that were placed in the jungles of Vietnam to either maim American soldiers or create panic amongst the ranks.
    • From here, you can enter one of the tunnel entrances and crawl through the tunnels is a real experience to imagine how people could live there for an extended period!
    • There is a shooting range where you can try to fire an automatic or semi-automatic weapon for a fee (this fee is not included)
    • Take some rest at the end for a taste of Cu Chi boiled tapioca and thinking what humans are capable of when having to defend their home.
  • We drive back to Ho Chi Minh city and drop you to your hotel. Dinner on your own.

Day 3Mekong Delta Tour (B/L)
  • 08h00: Our guide and driver will pick you up at your hotel, and drive 2,5 hours to Cai Be. We will stop along the way for refreshments and toilet.  Here are some activities on the trip:
    • Visit a flea market and cruise along a vast network of canals and channels of Mekong River.
    • Have some fresh fruits and visit some local cottage industries (coconut candy workshop, snake wine, pop-rice, or rice paper)
    • Visit an island named Tan Phong and a tropical fruit garden, listen to Vietnamese traditional music, and enjoy getting in touch with local life.
    • Join a cooking demonstration and enjoy your wonderful lunch afterward.
    • Take a cycling tour of about 30 minutes around the village -a fantastic way to experience local life.
    • Get back to the house, say goodbye to your hosts.
  • 17h30: Arrive Ho Chi Minh, be dropped off at your hotel. Dinner on your own. Overnight at the hotel.
Day 4Ho Chi Minh- Flight To Danang - Transfer To Hoian (B/D)
  • At the good time this morning, you will be transferred to the airport for a short flight to Danang city. Upon arrival to Danang, our tour guide will pick you up and transfer to hotel in Hoian. Explore Hoi An Ancient Town – visit landmarks like Phuc Kien Pagoda, Phung Hung Ancient House, and the Japanese Covered Bridge. Shop at the central market and enjoy dinner.
  • 18h00: Take a scenic boat ride on Hoai River, release flower lanterns, and experience Hoi An’s magical night market.
  • 18h30: Have dinner at local restaurant. Back to hotel for take rest.

Day 5Hoian Free And Easy (B)
  • Today you are free at hotel to enjoy atmosphere or discovery Hoian Ancient Town.

Day 6Hoian - Hue Full Day City (B/L)
  • 07h30: Pick up and drive to Hue (102 km north of Da Nang).
  • The automobile stops at magnificent attractions like: National Route 1A in Vietnam crosses Hai Van Pass, a 21-km mountain pass. It is one of Vietnam’s most scenic hillside roads and divides Thua Thien-Hue Province from Danang City. Lang Co beach features almost 10 miles of white sand and azure sea water, making it great for relaxing, swimming, and taking photos.
  • 10h30: Visit the Khai Dinh Tomb, which combines eastern and western artistic styles. A Hue-style specialty restaurant serves lunch at 12:00.
  • 13h00: Continue exploring Hue Imperial, including the palace of 13 Nguyen Kings, Ngo Mon Gate, Library, Thai Hoa palace, Nine Dynastic Urns, and Thien Mu pagoda, which is dedicated to Hue’s culture
  • 15h30: Transfer to tour hotel with driver and guide. Check in hotel in Hue. Take a rest.
Day 7Hue Flight To Hanoi (B)
  • You are free time until transfer to airport for Hanoi. Upon arrival, you will be picked up and transfer to hotel for check in (check in time is 14:00PM).
  • After check in your hotel, you will start to visit Hanoi around by cyclo. You will enjoy the egg coffee and then have dinner at local restaurant.
  • You will be back to hotel for rest.
  • Overnight in Hanoi.
Day 8Hanoi - Mai Chau - Poomcong Village (B/L/D)
  • 08h00: Our guide and driver will wait for you at your hotel lobby and transfer to Mai Chau, Poom Coong Village. On the way, we will stop at the local market of the Muong Ethnic Minority and enjoy the beautiful scenery of Thung Khe Pass.
  • After arriving in Mai Chau at around 12h00, you will enjoy the regional specialties. We will then cycle to visit Cha Long and Tong Dau villages of the Thai Ethnic Minority before visiting the real local Thai traditional Stilt House and stir your curiosity to learn about their daily life and culture.
  • Check-in the accommodation, enjoy your free time and then taste the traditional food, have the language exchange with the local people, and enjoy a traditional Thai music show with the famous “bamboo” dance included.
  • Overnight in Mai Chau.
Day 9Mai Chau - Kia Cave- Paco Village (B/L)
  • Whilst having breakfast, you will enjoy the calm and peaceful atmosphere here.
  • You will have chance to visit Pa Co market (just opening on Sunday morning only). You can meet such typical ethnic groups as Black Hmong, Muong, White Thai, Back Thai & Viet in their colorful dresses coming exchange their self-made or self-grown products or just to meet each other. Pa Co market attracts visitors by providing them with an introduction to the daily life of some typical ethnic groups in Mai Chau, Vietnam.
  • We will then visit the beautiful Kia Cave via the non-tourist path and enjoy the alluring rice terraces along the way.
  • Having lunch and enjoy your free time or go for a walk before boarding the car to get back Hanoi.

Day 10Hanoi - Halong Bay - Overnight On Cruise (B/L/D)
  • 08h30: Our private car picks you up at your hotel. Departure to Halong Bay for 2.5 hours by our Limousine Shuttle Bus via High-Speed Express Way.
  • 10h00: Stopover at Pearl Farmhouse for refreshment about 20 – 30 minutes
  • 12h30: Welcome on board.
  • 13h00: Lunch (During the lunch the boat is cruising pass the small fishing village)
  • 14h20: Go to visit Sung Sot Cave. After visiting Sung Sot cave, we will comeback Alisa boat, our boat keeps cruising to kayak area.

  • 18h00: Enjoy Happy hour for drinking and Sunset party at the sky bar, on the 4 floors.

Day 11Halong Bay - Hanoi (B/L)
  • 06h45 – 07h30: Breakfast is served.
  • 07h30 – 08h30: Kayaking to Luon Cave (please change your clothes because it will be wet, we don’t recommend you take your camera, cell phone together.)
  • 09h45: Check out time (for a better arrangement, please put your luggage out of the door and return the room key at the reception). Our staff will help you transfer your luggage to the jetty in advance.
  • 09h45 – 10h30: Early lunch is served.
  • 10h30: Pay the bill at the bar counter on the second floor.
  • 11h00: Say good bye to the crew and disembark in Alisa Harbor.
  • 12h00: Get on the car and come back to Hanoi.

Day 12Hanoi - Flight To Luang Prabang (B)
  • Breakfast at hotel then free until your transfer to the airport for your flight to Luang Prabang.
  • Upon arrival at the airport, you will be met and transferred to your hotel. Luang Prabang is perhaps the best-preserved traditional city in Southeast Asia. The tranquility and charm of this town with its splendid natural scenery and cultural sights make it one of the most delightful places to visit in Laos. the rest of the day is at leisure and.

Day 13Luang Prabang - Pakou Caves - KuangSi Waterfall (B/L)
  • We enjoy a short-guided tour seeing the city’s oldest temple of Wat Mai and the magnificent Wat Xiengthong with its roofs sweeping low to the ground, which represents classical Laotian architecture.
  • We then board a cruise upstream on the Mekong River, which also gives us a panaromic view of the tranquil countryside as well as an interesting visit to the mysterious of Pak Ou Caves, two linked caves crammed with thousands of gold lacquered Buddha statues of various shapes and sizes left by pilgrims.
  • Along the way, we stop at the small village of Ban Xanghai, where the local rice wine is distilled.
  • We return to Luang Prabang in the afternoon by car then continue our excursion toward Khouangsi Waterfall, en route, we visit local villages of Lao ethnic minority groups at Ban Ouay, Hmong Village, Ban Ou, Laoloum Village and Ban Thapene, Khmu Village.
  • Then drive to the beautiful Khouangsi Waterfall where you can splash around in the turquoise pools or walk along the forest trails.
  • We return to Luang Prabang by late afternoon and continue to Ban Xangkhong, a village well known for silk handweaving and for traditional Saa Paper making. We return to the city by late evening . the rest of your day is free at leisure and overnight in Lauang Prabang.

Day 14Luang Prabang - Drive To Vang Vieng (B/L)
  • For early risers, there is a very special dawn visit to watch the monks collecting alms. As the sun begins to rise, long lines of orange-robed monks leave their pagodas and walk barefoot down the streets collecting offerings from Luang Prabang residents. Return to the hotel for breakfast.
  • After breakfast, we leave this charming city in the early morning for our journey to Vang Vieng. Our journey will be strenuous as we drive along one of the most scenic but also one of the roughest routes in Asia. In the afternoon we arrive Vang Vieng, a small and tranquil town, which is nestled on a bend of the Nam Song River.
  • Its stunning scenery with a mixture of quiet water and limestone outcrops remains unspoiled, despite recent developments with the advent of tourism (If time permits). We visit Tham Chang Cave.
  • Overnight in Vang Vieng.
Day 15Explore Vieng Vang (B/L)
  • After breakfast , the day will start with a 14km ride to the first cave, Tham Xang (Elephant Cave). The cave lies on the banks of the Nam Song River. It is an important Buddhist Temple and owes its name to a remarkable limestone formation.
  • You will then pass through a small Lao farm and village with green rice fields.
  • Afterwards, you will have the chance to swim in the clear, cool spring water that lies at the mouth of Tham Nam (Water Cave), where you can go tubing up to 500 metres inside of the cave.
  • The tubing is then followed by a free BBQ lunch aside Tham Nam (Water Cave).
  • There will then be a 30 minute walk back to a village, where you’ll be picked up to begin your kayaking. You’ll be driven to the starting point, Khmu Village, 10km North of Vang Vieng. The friendly English speaking guides will give you some paddle instructions before you start on this 3 hour kayaking trip.
  • Further down you’ll have the opportunity to stop at bars throughout the river, where you can relax by the river and get some refreshments or even a bite to eat if you’re hungry. It’s a great place to swim with fantastic views, or play a game such as snooker or table tennis with some fellow travellers.
  • Once the kayaking is completed, we’ll take a truck ride to the famous Blue Lagoon, where you will have the chance to swim in the lagoon or just relax in the small bamboo huts.
  • Afterwards we will return back to Vang Vieng as the tour comes to a close and transfer to your hotel.
  • Overnight in Vang Vieng.
Day 16Vieng Vang Transfer To Vientiane (B/L)
  • Early morning, we drive out of town to the capital, Vientiane, is the charming and fascinating capital of Laos. This city conjures up exotic images, with the curious mix of Lao, Thai, Chinese, Vietnamese, French influences.
  • This afternoon we explore the town, with Wat Sisaket which is the oldest temple still standing in Vientiane. This amazing structure features remarkable frescoes and Buddha images.
  • We continue sightseeing by visiting Haw Prakeo, the former royal temple of Laos monarchy, which previously housed the famous Emerald Buddha Statue. We then visit the imposing Patuxay Monument, which is well known as Vientiane’s own Arc de Triumph before continuing to the famous That Luang Stupa.
  • Overnight in Vientiane.
Day 17Vientiane - Flight To Phnom Penh (B/L)
  • After breakfast, you will be transferred to airport for flight to Phnom Penh. On arrival at airport you will be met and transferred to the hotel by our local representative.
  • After the short rest you will visit the impressive colourful Khmer-style Royal Palace Complex built in 1866 by the Predecessors of King Norodom.
  • Nearby is Silver pagoda (the emerald Buddha temple), where contain plenty of Buddha Statues decorated and made by gold, diamond, gemstone and silver.
  • We will stop at Independence monument and explore the National museum, a beautiful Khmer architecture building contains more than 5000 art antiques made by bronze, wood, gold, silver, copper, sandstone and others. We pass through the river-front park where 4 rivers met at a junction include mystical Mekong.
  • Walk up to sacred hill Phnom Daun Penh – also the name of a pagoda and name of the capital nowadays.
  • Last visit Central Market, a large market constructed in 1937 in the shape of a dome with four arms branching out into vast hallways with countless stalls of goods. Initial design and layouts are from French architect Louis Chauchon.

Day 18Phnom Penh Explore And Flight To Siem Reap (B)
  • This morning you will visit Tuol Sleng prison now is Genocide Museum, the most secret part of the Khmer Rouge regime. It’s also called S-21 (abbreviated for Security Office 21), a Khmer Rouge’s premier security camp, specifically designed for the interrogation and extermination of anti-Angkor elements. Leave the relics of the bad history of Cambodia we will go shopping around Russian market, enjoy the bustling daily activities of the locals .
  • Heading to Airport for departure to Siem Reap.
  • Welcome to Cambodia – Siem Reap, the treasures of the Kingdom of Cambodia. After the short rest you will transfer to hotel for checking-in. Lunch and dinner at local restaurant at your own arrangement and expenses.

Day 19Angkor Wat Full Day (B/L)
  • Today you will explore South Gate of Angkor Thom known as Big Angkor, 3km2 walled and moated royal city and was the last capital of the Angkorian Empire, the famous Bayon Temple was an architectural muddle, in part because it was constructed in a somewhat piecemeal fashion for over a century.
    • Terrace of the Elephants is an impressive, two and a half meter tall, 300-meter-long terrace wall adorned with carved elephants and gradual that spans the heart of Angkor Thom in front of Baphuon – huge temple mountain in the heart of Angkor Thom, Royal Palace Area and Phimeanakas – impressive rite and sandstone pyramid.
    • Terrace of the Leper King is at the north end of the Terrace of the Elephants, a double terrace wall with deeply carved nag as, demons and other mythological beings. Lunch at local restaurant at own arrangement.
  • Afternoon visit Angkor Wat Temple, the founder of the temple was Suryavarman II who reined Cambodia from 1113 to 1152 and built the five towers in the 12th century to dedicate to the Hindu God Vishnu. The plan of the pyramidal conception of the temple combined with spaces, alleys, ditches is an ancient masterpiece of architectural design and construction. Have fun time at bars and pubs at Angkor night market.

Day 20Angkor Full Day Tour (B/L)
  • Today you will visit Small Circuit including
    • Visit Ta Prohm temple which is a wonderful combination of human genius and natural beauty.
    • Giant trees have grown here for centuries and Prasat Kravan was originally constructed by noblemen rather than a king.
    • Banteay Kdei was built in sandstone, which has deteriorated quite badly. However, there remain some very beautiful lintels and pediments. Srah Srang is a royal pool was the King’s bathing pond, where he washed with his many concubines each day.
    • Takeo – King Suryavarman I commissioned this temple in the 10th Century, but it was never completed so has no elaborate decoration like its contemporaries. It is a pyramid on 5 levels and is dedicated to Shiva. Thommanon – small attractive temple in very good condition, built at the same time as Angkor Wat.
    • Chau Say Tevoda built during the second quarter of the 12th century opposite of Thommanon, it was dedicated to Shiva and Vishnu.

  • Afternoon overland trip to visit the highlights of the Grand Circuit including:
    • Preah Khan – meaning The Sacred Sword, this temple was also built by Jayawarman VII and is famous for its immensely long cruciform corridors and delicate carvings.
    • Neak Pean – This temple is a delicate highlight of Khmer art. Built by Jayavarman VII, this temple is the perfect representation of the heavens on earth.
    • Ta Som was a small classic Bayon style monastic complex consisting of a relatively flat enclosure.
    • East Mebon was built in the 10th Century by Rajendravarman, this temple was situated on a small island in the middle of the Oriental, or Eastern, Baray.
    • Last visit Pre Rup was built in the 10th Century by Rajendravarman.

Day 21Tonle Sap Lake (B)
  • After breakfast, you will start to visit Tonle Sap Lake. You will enjoy a boat ride on the Tonle Sap Lake. This is the largest permanent fresh-water lake in South East Asia and flows into Tonle Sap River, joining the Mekong in Phnom Penh.
  • We will see a fishermen’s “floating village” with floating schools, floating police station, etc.
Day 22Siem Reap Departure (B)
  • Free on your leisure time till driver with guide transfer you to Siem Reap Airport for flight back home.

We have a minimum age requirement of 18 years old to join the tour. Group members aged 16-17 years old are welcome to join the tour but only with a family member that will act as their guardian whilst on tour. Aside from that, no age requirements at all!
