Introduction

I'm Hannah Bui, a Content Creator and Travel Expert at Indochina Travel Group, where I specialize in sharing the stories, cultures, and travel insights of Southeast Asia with a global audience. My goal is simple: to help travelers feel confident and well-prepared before starting their journey across Vietnam, Cambodia, or Laos.

Every guide I write is built from real local knowledge, on-the-ground insights, and genuine cultural understanding — not generic information recycled from other sources. I believe the best travel experiences come from understanding the stories and traditions behind a destination, not just ticking off a sightseeing list.

At Indochina Travel Group, international travelers reach out every month with questions about itinerary planning, local cuisine, accommodation choices, and how to make the most of their time in Indochina. My writing exists because travelers deserve practical, trustworthy answers — explained clearly and honestly.

What I Write

My content covers the full spectrum of travel across Vietnam, Cambodia, and Laos, including destination guides, cultural insights, practical travel advice, and tour planning resources for international visitors from Australia, Singapore, the Philippines, South Africa, and beyond.

Specifically, I create:

  • Destination Guides — detailed introductions to the history, culture, and attractions of key destinations including Hanoi, Halong Bay, Hoi An, Ho Chi Minh City, Ninh Binh, and Sapa.
  • Cultural Storytelling — content that explains the context behind heritage sites, local traditions, cuisine, and everyday life in Indochina.
  • Practical Travel Advice — guidance on transportation, cultural etiquette, dietary options, and essential planning tips for first-time visitors.
  • Tour Planning Resources — insights to help travelers choose the right itinerary, travel style, and duration for their journey across the region.

How I Build My Content

1. I collaborate closely with ITG's on-ground team.
Working directly with Indochina Travel Group's tour designers, local guides, and travel specialists, I gather accurate, practical information that reflects real travel conditions across Southeast Asia — not assumptions or outdated generalizations.

2. I collect insights from travelers before and after their trips.
Real traveler conversations reveal what international visitors truly care about — from itinerary concerns and accommodation expectations to cultural questions and logistical challenges. These insights shape every guide I write.

3. I join familiarization trips and experience routes firsthand.
Whenever possible, I visit hotels, test transfers, join tours, and explore attractions personally. These firsthand experiences allow me to write with authority and precision — so travelers know exactly what to expect.

4. I keep content up to date with operational changes.
Whenever an itinerary changes, a service improves, or partner policies are updated, I revise the content immediately to ensure everything remains accurate and reliable for travelers planning their journeys.

5. I prioritize clarity, honesty, and cultural respect.
I write the way a knowledgeable local friend would explain things — clearly, practically, and with genuine respect for the cultures and communities of Vietnam, Cambodia, and Laos.

Experience

  • Content Creator and Travel Expert at Indochina Travel Group.
  • Collaborates directly with ITG's tour designers, local guides, and travel specialists across Vietnam, Cambodia, and Laos.
  • Creates destination guides, cultural insights, and practical travel resources for international travelers from multiple global markets.
  • Participates in hotel inspections, city tours, and familiarization trips across the Indochina region.
  • Regularly updates content based on traveler feedback and real-time operational changes.

"My goal is to offer more than just travel tips. I want to provide a window into our way of life. When travelers understand the stories behind the places they visit, their journey becomes much more meaningful and unforgettable."
