DETAILED ITINERARY
Day 1: Hanoi - Halong Bay (L/D)
Timeline
- 08:00 – 08:30: Pick-up time.
- 12:00: Warmly welcomed by Athena Team in Ha Long International Pier. Complete the luggage check-in procedure at the waiting lounge before boarding for the cruise.
- 12:30: Transferred to the Athena Cruise by a tender boat. The Cruise Manager and the whole crew member welcome you onboard, a safety briefing and clearing our the itinerary will be delivered while you are enjoying our signature welcome drink.
- 12:45: Lunch is served at our cozy restaurant. As the cruise departs towards Halong Bay – a natural wonder of the world, absorb yourself in the gorgeous scenery and famous sights of limestone.
- 14:45: The cruise stops at “Bo Nau” cave (Pelican Cave), the core area of the world’s natural heritage. Transferring by tender to “Sung Sot” Cave (Surprising cave) – the biggest and the most beautiful cave in Ha Cong Bay.
- 15:45: Leaving Surprising cave, keep moving by tender to the Titop island was named by Uncle Ho, after Gherman Stepanovich Titop – the Soviet astronaut who visited in 1962.
- Enjoy swimming, relaxing on the beach or climbing the steps of the Rock to the top of the island. A magical panoramic view of Ha Long Bay will surprise you there.
- 17:00: Back to the Athena Cruise after a chain of interesting activities. Time for relaxing while the cruise moves to the overnight place.
- 18:00 – 19:00: Take advantage of the Happy hours drink while the sun is giving way to stunning twilight.
- 18:30: A Cooking Demonstration of traditional Vietnamese dishes will be organized by Athena Head Chef.
- 19:00: A fusion set menu will be served to warm up your stomach after a long active day.
- 20:30: Free time for evening activities: film entertainment, mini-games (in the dining room); squid fishing; massage… The Cruise Manager will be there to support you.
Day 2: Ha Long Bay - Hanoi (B/Brunch)
Timeline
- 06:30: Good morning the Bay by joining Tai Chi Exercise on the sundeck in 30 minutes whilst cruising to “Luon” Cave.
- 07:00: A light breakfast is ready to serve at the restaurant.
- 07:30: Visit “Luon” cave – one of the caves open to the form beautiful endemic then vegetation of Halong Bay. 2 options to choose how to discover it: kayaking for free and traditional woven (bamboo) boat rowed by a local boatman.
- 09:00: Come back to Athena cruise, relax and pack the luggage. Leave the luggage outside the door. Athena team will collect and get them ready on the Pier.
- 09:30: Enjoy a brunch buffet at the restaurant after check-out while cruising toward the port.
- 10:45: Transfer by tender back to Ha Long International Pier and disembarkation.
- 11:00 – 12:00: The group car will pick you up at the hotel and transfer to Hanoi. Farewell to guests.

Children Policy
Under 5 years old:
- Children under 5 years old sharing the full price cabin with adults: Free of charge (Limited to 1 child/1 cabin)
- From 2nd children: charged 50% adult (without extra bed)
From 5 to 10 years old:
- 01 Child stays in the double/twin cabin with 2 adults: charged 75% adult.
From 11 years old:
- Children from 11 years old will be charged as adults
- Two children below 11 years stay in a private cabin are charged at 100% of the full cabin rate.
Cancellation policy for Tours
- 30% of the tour price if the tour is cancelled 5 days before departure
- 50% of the tour price if the tour is cancelled between 48 hours – 72 hours before departure
- 75% of the tour price if the tour is cancelled between 24 hours – 48 hours before departure
- 100% of the tour price if the tour is cancelled less than 24 hours before departure or no show

Are there any age restrictions for this tour?
We have a minimum age requirement of 18 years old to join the tour. Group members aged 16-17 years old are welcome to join the tour but only with a family member that will act as their guardian whilst on tour. Aside from that, no age requirements at all!
