DETAILED ITINERARY
Day 1: Ho Chi Minh Arrival
Timeline
- Welcome to Ho Chi Minh – the largest city of Vietnam. Our guide and driver will pick you up at airport and transfer to hotel for check in. The room is at your disposal from 02:00 PM onwards.
- Overnight in Ho Chi Minh.
Day 2: Ho Chi Minh City – Cu Chi Tunnels - Sky Observation (Breakfast/Lunch)
Timeline
- Your guide and driver will pick you up at your hotel. We will visit the following places of interest:
- Independence Palace (the Reunification Palace) was built on the sight of the former Norodom palace.
- War Remnants Museum which has a vast display of both the Indochina wars.
- Notre Dame Cathedral & Central Post Office the beautiful structures from the French Colonial times
- Jade Emperor Pagoda with the peaceful atmosphere &o many stories behind each detail of the pagoda.
- After a few hours discovering the city, you will enjoy your lunch at a local restaurant before we drive about 1,5 hours through the pleasant countryside before arriving at Cu Chi.
- Upon arrival, you’ll watch a brief of propaganda video, which explains how the tunnels were used to successfully defeat American military forces in combat.
- The tour continues and the guide explains some traps that were placed in the jungles of Vietnam to either maim American soldiers or create panic amongst the ranks.
- From here, you can enter one of the tunnel entrances and crawl through the tunnels is a real experience to imagine how people could live there for an extended period!
- There is a shooting range where you can try to fire an automatic or semi-automatic weapon for a fee (this fee is not included)
- Take some rest at the end for a taste of Cu Chi boiled tapioca and thinking what humans are capable of when having to defend their home.
- We drive back to Ho Chi Minh city and continue to enjoy Skydeck Observation. Then drop you to your hotel. Overnight at the hotel.
Day 3: Mekong Delta - Cai Be (Breakfast/ Lunch)
Timeline
- 07:30 – 08:00 AM: Our guide and driver will pick you up at your hotel, and drive 2,5 hours to Cai Be. We will stop along the way for refreshments and toilet. Here are some activities on the trip:
- Visit a flea market and cruise along a vast network of canals and channels of Mekong River.
- Have some fresh fruits and visit some local cottage industries (coconut candy workshop, snake wine, pop-rice, or rice paper)
- Visit an island named Tan Phong and a tropical fruit garden, listen to Vietnamese traditional music, and enjoy getting in touch with local life.
- Join a cooking demonstration and enjoy your wonderful lunch afterward.
- Take a cycling tour of about 30 minutes around the village -a fantastic way to experience local life.
- Get back to the house, say goodbye to your hosts.
- 05:30 – 06:00 PM: Arrive Ho Chi Minh, be dropped off at your hotel. Dinner on your own. Overnight at the hotel.
Day 4: Ho Chi Minh – Fly To Da Nang (Breakfast)
Timeline
- At the good time this morning, you will be transferred to the airport for a short flight to Danang city. Upon arrival to Danang, our tour guide and driver will pick you up and transfer to the hotel to check in. Meals on your own. Overnight at the hotel.
Day 5: Marble Mountains – Am Phu Cave – Monkey Mountains - Hoian Ancient Town (Breakfast/ Lunch)
Timeline
- 07:30 – 08:00 AM: We’ll pick you up at hotel and transfer to Danang city (around 30km).
- 08:30 AM: Arrive in Marble Mountains and stop for a walk along the site to see local factories of stone sculptures – the most impressive handicrafts village in Danang.
- 09:00 – 10:30 AM: Check in the Marble Mountains by climbing up to the top (elevator is optional). Here we will see beautiful pagodas which were built from 19th century by the last dynasty of Viet Nam monarchy, visit Huyen Khong and Tang Chon caves.
- 10:30 – 11:00 AM: Keep going to see the biggest fascinated cave named as Am Phu. You will learn interesting philosophies of Buddhism and take photos with amazing natural creation.
- 11:00 AM: Have lunch at the local restaurant with local and authentic Vietnamese cuisines.
- 11:45 AM: Our van will transfer you to the next stop – Monkey Mountains. A giant statue Lady Buddha with beautiful background such as mountains and huge garden of bonsai would draw your attention. You will definitely get lost in the garden of heaven with gripping stories when gently walking and enjoy a fresh breeze.
- 12:30 PM: Have Lunch at local restaurant.
- 13:30 PM: Continue to head to visit Hoi An Ancient Town. It welcomes you to visit Phuc Kien Pagoda, Phung Hung ancient house, the Japanese Bridge, Museum, etc. Shopping at Hoi An Central Market. Walk around the historic old town and be amazed by the influences from China, Japan, and Vietnam. Take a boat along Hoai river. Back to hotel for relaxing.
Day 6: Ba Na Hills – Golden Bridge (Breakfast/ Lunch)
Timeline
- 09:00 AM: Be picked up at hotel in Da Nang. Transfer to Ba Na Hills (35km) and take Cable Car which gains 5 world scores to Ba Na Hills station. Stop at By Night station to visit Vong Nguyet hills, The Old Villas of French, the Golden Bridge…
- Continue moving up by cable car to the Nui Chua Mountain – the top of Ba Na range, visiting Ninh Phong top, Le Nim Villas, Orchid Garden… Experience hill climbing train (first and unique funicular in Vietnam) and visit an old French cellar (Debay Ancient Wine Cellar), flower garden Le Jardin D’amour. Buffet lunch will be severed at the restaurant.
- In the afternoon, you will be free for joining games in Fantasy Park – the third biggest indoor games zone in Vietnam with series of interesting games: 4 – 5D film, skiver, The death race, dinosaur park… (2 hours). Or discover Ba Na hills on your own.
- 03:00 PM: Back to the hotel. Dinner on your own. Overnight at the hotel.
Day 7: Da Nang – Fly To Ha Noi (Breakfast)
Timeline
- Free at your leisure until being transferred to the airport to take your domestic flight to Hanoi.
- Once arrival, you will be warmly welcomed by our driver to transfer to the hotel to check in. The balance of the day is at your leisure.
- Meals on your own. Overnight at the hotel.
Day 8: Hanoi City Tour With Train Street (Breakfast/ Lunch)
Timeline
- 8.30: Your local guide and driver will pick you up for Hanoi private city tour. You will start with a visit to Ho Chi Minh Complex (it is closed on Monday and Friday), there you can visit Ho Chi Minh Mausoleum where the corpse of Uncle Ho kept. Next you will see the Presidential Palace – a nice French architecture in the garden and visit Ho Chi Minh House on stilts, learn about the simple life of Ho Chi Minh – the first President of Vietnam and the man who is loved by most of Vietnamese. Keep walking around the poetry fishpond to the One Pillar Pagoda – one of the most attractions in Hanoi, you cannot miss with the special architecture. Have lunch at local restaurant.
- You will continue to visit Hoa Lo prision, which is well-known as one of the most inhumane prisons with terrified punishment. It is also a symbol of strong will of prisoners and their sacrifice for their communist ideals.
- Have lunch at local restaurant.
- In the afternoon you will explore Hanoi by cyclo the Old Quarter – the 36 ancient streets. This slow – speed tour will give you a great opportunity to fully enjoy the classic and modern of the capital
- Visit train street and enjoy a wonderful glass of egg coffee or you can watch coffee show at the coffee shop and enjoy the nice coffee here
- End of the day with enjoy water puppet show, which performance like daily life of Vietnamese farmers (cultivating, tending buffalo, catching fishes…), communal entertainment (swimming contest, dragon dancing…), or historical legends (Le Loi returns precious sword…), with modest performance way have appealed audiences for centuries
- Then transfer you back to hotel.
Day 9: Hanoi – Halong Bay (Breakfast/ Lunch/ Dinner) By private car only
Timeline
- 08:30: Our private car picks you up at your hotel.
- 08:30: Departure to Ha Long Bay for 2.5 hours by our Limousine Shuttle Bus via High-Speed Express Way.
- 10:00: Stopover at Pearl Farmhouse for refreshment about 20 – 30 minutes
- 12:30: Welcome on board.
- 13:00: Lunch (During the lunch the boat is cruising pass the small fishing village)
- 14:20: Go to visit Sung Sot cave.
- After visiting Sung sot cave, we will comeback Alisa boat, our boat keeps cruising to kayak area
- 16:00: Kayaking.
- 18:00: Enjoy Happy hour for drinking and Sunset party at the sky bar, on the 4 floors.
- 18:15: Cooking class (Enjoy Vietnamese traditional food – Spring rolls).
- 19:00: Dinner is served.
- 20:30: Relaxing time (Squid fishing).
Day 10: Halong Bay – Hanoi (Breakfast/ Lunch)
Timeline
- 06:45 – 07:30: Breakfast is served.
- 07:30 – 08:30: Kayaking to Luon cave (please change your clothes because it will be wet, we don’t recommend you take your camera, cell phone together.)
- 09:45: Check out time (for a better arrangement, please put your luggage out of the door and return the room key at the reception). Our staff will help you transfer your luggage to the jetty in advance.
- 09:45 – 10:30: Early lunch is served.
- 10:30: Pay the bill at the bar counter on the second floor.
- 11:00: Say good bye to the crew and disembark in Alisa Harbor.
- 12:00: Get on the car and come back to Hanoi.
Day 11: Hanoi Departure
Timeline
- After breakfast, you will be free at leisure until transfer to the airport for flight back home. Trip ends.

Are there any age restrictions for this tour?
We have a minimum age requirement of 18 years old to join the tour. Group members aged 16-17 years old are welcome to join the tour but only with a family member that will act as their guardian whilst on tour. Aside from that, no age requirements at all!
