DETAILED ITINERARY
Day 1: Tho Ha - Bat Trang
Timeline
- 8.00: Pick up at your hotel and head for Tho Ha village in Bac Giang province, good chance for sightseeing the countryside scenery, farmers are working on the green field with water buffalo… On arrival, cross Cau River by a local ferry to Tho Ha village, we will walk around to visit, learn about the local culture, interact with the local and experience their daily works.
- Discover Tho Ha village through narrow and zigzag alleys with the old houses constructed by the broken part of terracotta. Walk over lake. Tho Ha now is known for making rice or cassava wine and rice paper cakes, and most recently the village’s special brick walls have attracted many film producers, painters, photographers.
- Pay a visit to one family and see the procedure of making rice paper cakes, also hand-on experience yourself making your own rice papers. Have talk with the host and learn about the procedure and their way of life.
- Have lunch at a local family.
- 13.30: Drive to Bat Trang, walk around the village, visit a local work-shop to watch the artisans molding, painting their products and you will have a chance to practice your talent with wet clay and a mold. Keep walking inside the ancient village, visit the Commune House, and discover the daily life of people. Visit the old pottery market, do some shopping, and drive back to the hotel.
- 17.00: Drive back to Hotel.

Are there any age restrictions for this tour?
We have a minimum age requirement of 18 years old to join the tour. Group members aged 16-17 years old are welcome to join the tour but only with a family member that will act as their guardian whilst on tour. Aside from that, no age requirements at all!

What should I do if I get lost during the tour?
Incase you cannot find your tour guide, please stay calm, stay where you are and contact the tour guide that we provided or contact us your positions. Our tour guide will looking for you.
