DETAILED ITINERARY

Day 1: Hanoi Arrival

Timeline

  • Welcome to Hanoi, the heart of Vietnam which is considered as a blend of traditional and modern beauties.  At Noi Bai Airport, your local guide and driver will welcome then take you to your hotel to check-in. Overnight in Hanoi.

Day 2: Hanoi City Tour (L)

Timeline

  • 08.00: After breakfast at the hotel, meet your guide and driver and take a full day city tour of Hanoi You will start with a visit to Ho Chi Minh Complex, there you can visit Ho Chi Minh Mausoleum where the corpse of our Uncle Ho is being kept. Keep touring the Presidential Palace – a nice French architecture in the garden and visit Ho Chi Minh House on stilts, One Pillar Pgoda. Then you will visit the Temple of Literature –Confucius temple and it was The first University of Vietnam.
  • Lunch at the local restaurant
  • Continue the tour to one of the following Hanoi’s museums: Fine Art, History, Revolutionary, War, Ethnology (of your choosing), then head to Hoan Kiem Lake. Experience a one-hour cyclo ride. Finish your day off at the Thang Long Opera Theatre for a traditional Vietnamese water puppet show. You will have free time to go shopping or relax on your own. Back to your hotel.
  • Overnight in Hanoi.

Day 3: Hanoi - Halong Bay - Overnight On CruiseE (L/D)

Timeline

  • 08.30 AM: Our driver will pick you up at the hotel, departing 2.5 hours to Halong Bay – the World Natural Heritage recognized by UNESCO twice. Upon arrival, embark on the cruise and enjoy a welcome drink while having a tour briefing. A sumptuous lunch will be served on board while the ship sails further to the Bay, make your time to admire its dramatic limestone islands.
  • You can rest at your leisure on the sundeck or relax in your cabin. In the afternoon, you will have time to swim in the warm and calm water or get on the kayaks of your choice. Kayaking is very easy for all levels and ages to do. Our expert and experienced guide surely instruct you on basic paddling steps before leading you to explore the extraordinary beauty of Halong Bay. After 01 hour of exploring the bay, we will return to the cruise for relaxation before attending a Cooking class in the late afternoon.
  • Enjoy the superb dinner and stay overnight on board.

Day 4: Halong Bay- Hanoi - Flight To Danang (B/Brunch)

Timeline

  • We will continue our journey on Halong Bay in the early morning. A Tai Chi Class on the sun deck is a must that you should not miss when on the cruise.
  • Sitting on the upper deck; you can relax, sightseeing while taking photos of the magnificent beauty of the rocky islands rising from the emerald water of the bay.
  • After breakfast, we will explore Sung Sot cave – one of the finest and widest grottoes of Halong Bay. Next keep cruising and passing the fishing village with its unique way of life.
  • At 10.30 AM, our boat cruises back to the jetty, and you will enjoy the last moment in the bay before having a traditional Vietnamese lunch.
  • You leave the boat around 12:00 at noon, we go ashore and transfer to the Noibai airport for a flight to Danang.
  • Upon Danang city, you will pick up and then transfer to the hotel in Hoian for check-in.
  • Overnight in Danang/ Hoian

Day 5: Bana Hills - Golden Bridge (L)

Timeline

  • 08.00: Your guide and driver will pick you up and transfer you via Danang to get to Ba Na Hills. Take a Cable Car ride from Ba Na Hills station to travel around to enjoy the famous land. Stop at Bana Hills station to visit Vong Nguyet hills, Linh Ung pagoda, The Old Villas of French. Continue moving up by cable car to the Nui Chua Mountain – the top of Ba Na mountain range, visit Nghinh Phong top, Le Nim Villas, Orchid Garden… Experience the hill climbing train (the first and unique funicular in Vietnam) and visit an old French cellar (Debay Ancient Wine Cellar), and flower garden Le Jardin D’amour.
  • You should not miss walking on the famous Golden Bridge hanging in the foggy hills of the mountain, witnessing the amazing and gorgeous view of Da Nang City
  • Have lunch at the local restaurant
  • Afternoon: Free for joining games in Fantasy Park.
  • Drive to your hotel. Free time at your leisure.
  • Overnight in Danang/ Hoian

Day 6: My Son Sanctuary (L)

Timeline

  • 8:30: Leave Hoi An for a short drive to My Son, admire the fishing villages and the beauty of nature on the way. Arrive at My Son – “Valley of Kings” as described by French historians was once the capital of the Cham Pa Kingdom from the 4th to 15th century. Enjoy a traditional dance performance and walk around to learn and discover the history of the religious site which served as a burial place for the Cham monarchs many centuries ago. Drive back to the hotel.
  • Lunch at the local restaurant and free for the rest of the day.

Day 7: Da Nang - Fly To Ho Chi Minh City

Timeline

  • About 02 hours before your flight, the driver and your tour guide will come to the hotel and drive you to the airport for your 90-minute flight from Danang to Ho Chi Minh City. Welcome to Ho Chi Minh city, the bustle and hustle city in the south of Vietnam. This is one of the must-visit first cities attracting international tourists. At Tan Son Nhat Airport, your guide and driver will welcome then take you to your hotel to do check-in.  After relaxation, you can be free to discover the city. Overnight in Ho Chi Minh City.

Day 8: Ho Chi Minh City Tour – Cu Chi Tunnels (L)

Timeline

  • 08.30: After breakfast at the hotel, meet your guide at your hotel lobby. Take about one and half of hour drive, you will arrive in Cu Chi Tunnels where you will start discovery to enrich and experience a web-like tunnel system of more than 200km in length which used to be the shelters of guerrillas during the Vietnam war.
  •  Lunch at the local restaurant.
  • Drive back to HCM city, you will take a tour to discover the city by visiting the Reunification Hall, formerly known as the Presidential Palace. This fascinating building is filled with history and evidence of the former Saigon government. The tour also includes the War Remnants Museum, the Old Post Office and Ben Thanh Market. Drive back to your hotel and then you are free to relax.
  • Overnight in Ho Chi Minh City.

Day 9: Ho Chi Minh – Mekong Delta (L)

Timeline

  • 07.30: Our tour guide and driver will pick you up at your hotel lobby and transfer you to the Mekong Delta, the Vietnam’s largest rice bowl.
    • On arrival in My Tho, we embark on a boat navigating around the intricate small canals in the delta region, which is a great way to observe the local lifestyle close-up and catch a view dotted by many islands.
    • The exciting excursion will pass the lush green vegetation before arriving at the famous Uni-corn Island. Here we will taste honey tea and coconut candy. Then you can enjoy local seasonal fruit and listening to local folklore singing. Lunch at a local restaurant on the island.
    • Continue to take a sampan ride through mangroves forest and return to jetty. Disembark the sampan, we will visit Vinh Trang pagoda – a national historical and cultural relic. It is the greatest pagoda of Tien Giang Province, surrounded by gardens of ornamental trees, ancient trees and bonsai, creating a peaceful atmosphere. The architecture of Vinh Trang Pagoda is a harmonious combination of Asian and European types of architecture.
    • Head back to the city for shopping at Ben Thanh Market and then transfer back to hotel.

Day 10: Ho Chi Minh Departure

Timeline

We have a minimum age requirement of 18 years old to join the tour. Group members aged 16-17 years old are welcome to join the tour but only with a family member that will act as their guardian whilst on tour. Aside from that, no age requirements at all!
