The United States came in at #3, just behind Taiwan and ahead of Japan, which tied for #4-5.

Thailand attracted 392,000 tourists, Malaysia attracted 372,000 tourists, and Cambodia attracted 326,000 tourists as the top three markets in Southeast Asia.

The United Kingdom, France, and Germany were the top three European countries sending tourists to Vietnam.

The Vietnam National Administration of Tourism (VNAT) claims that the country’s unexpectedly high number of international visitors can be attributed to the organization’s proactive marketing, research, and development initiatives.

In order to expedite the effective and sustainable development of the tourism industry, the Ministry of Culture, Sports, and Tourism has raised its original goal of 8 million foreign tourists for all of 2023 to 12–13 million.
