Global markets, geopolitical tensions, and the possibility of climate-related natural catastrophes will continue to pose threats to Vietnam’s tourist industry in 2024, as predicted by the Vietnam National Tourist Agency (VNAT).

The 12.6 million foreign arrivals to Vietnam last year were approximately 70% of the figure before the pandemic.

The tourism industry in Vietnam is targeting a revenue of approximately VND840 trillion (US34.5 billion) in 2024 from 17–18 million international visitors and 110 million domestic visitors.
