Hanoi is hosting a weekend full of cultural events, art, and history as the Lunar New Year approaches.

To commemorate the Lunar New Year, the Vietnam Fine Arts Museum will present “Hanoi Spring,” an art exhibition.

The exhibition features 36 paintings centered around the theme of spring in Hanoi. The Vietnam Fine Arts Museum has incorporated modern digital graphics to enhance the visual experience of the viewers during the exhibition.

“Hanoi Spring” can be viewed at the Vietnam Fine Arts Museum, which is situated at 66 Nguyen Thai Hoc Street in the Ba Dinh District, from January 26 to February 25. Every day from 8:30 a.m. to 5 p.m. are the operating hours. Adult admission is VND40,000 ($1.60), while student admission is VND20,000 (equivalent to 80 cents).

Exhibition of Japanese woodblock prints

An art exhibition named “Dialogue with Japanese woodblock painting Ukiyo-e” will take place at the Temple of Literature. It will include 38 visual pieces that highlight various facets of Vietnamese culture. The purpose of the occasion is to honor the blending of Vietnamese and Japanese creative traditions.
